Introducing a new show format to a legacy audience with emerging technology.

The Ask

Introduce audiences to the AHS spinoff anthology series American Horror Stories. Develop creative content across digital media display and social channels that delivers on the fear and anticipation that fans expect.

The Technology

We brought the keyart to life using a custom 3D scan of the Rubber Person. Then worked and directed a 3D specialist to bring the Rubber Person’s realistic human movements to life using a Rokoko body suit. After the 3D body movements were captured, we output the different movements for uses in dozens of social videos, web takeovers, and interactive augmented reality lenses.

The Idea

We worked with our Partners at FX to 3D scan the Rubber person, an iconic character in the AHS Universe. We wanted use this familiar character across our digital assets in fun, frightening, and interactive ways. This included a rigged Snapchat Lens that popped out of a fan’s head, High Impact Interactive Digital Takeovers with custom animation, Social Post Disruptors, and more.
